Our Story

Founder Mason Phillpotts grew up surrounded by construction, craftsmanship, and the belief that you should always take pride in the work you do. Both of his grandfathers were custom home builders with a relentless focus on detail. His father spent years renovating and flipping homes. These early experiences shaped Mason’s passion for building things the right way and treating every job like it matters.

After years in the trades, Mason began to notice something missing in the roofing industry. Too many companies were focused on volume rather than quality. Homeowners were being passed from salesperson to project manager to billing with no personal connection. High pressure sales tactics and inconsistent workmanship left people confused and frustrated. Mason knew homeowners deserved better.

Vertex Roofing and Exteriors was created to provide the kind of experience he wished every homeowner could have direct communication, honest recommendations, quality products, and clean, organized installations that respect the homeowner’s time and property. Today, that mission continues to shape everything we do.
